Mama Elephant – Missing You greeting card

Today’s card is a fun little shaped card inspired by this week’s challenge over at Simon Says Stamp. There are two parts to the challenge: to create a shaped card and also use Mama Elephant supplies (if you have them). I pulled out stitched arch dies and a really cute dog set called Puppy Play to create this sweet little greeting.

I stamped this little friend in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored him with Copic markers in the W (warm gray) family. I used the coordinating dies to cut him out and also cut a few extras to stack behind for dimension. After creating the background scene, I adhered him in place then also added a bit of clear Nuvo to the palm fronds.

The finished card is roughly 3″ x 4-1/4″, so can be mailed in an A2 envelope. Now, the trick is to actually get it in the mail!
