Warm Hugs with “Pawesome Love”

The temps outside might be a little cool or cold right now depending on where you are, but you can send some warm greetings with a cute card like the one I’m sharing today.

To create this card, I started with the background and the beautiful Dotted Lattice Background die (Pinkfresh Studios). I was inspired by the die-cut inlay cards I’ve seen online and decided to cut the die in white, blue and a softly patterned paper. I used the white frame, then inlayed the blue diamonds and patterned pieces on the rest. My goal was to create something with the feel of a quilt – a nice, cozy quilt for a nice, warm feel 🙂

After this, I stamped and colored this cute kitty from Pawesome Love (Simon Says Stamp) and added a bit of clear nuvo drops over the heart for a little shine and dimension. I didn’t want to cover too much of the background, so just added the image over a tag along with my die cut greeting. A little twine and a few sequins finish it off.

And that’s it! A fun little greeting to send to someone special.
