Ever make one of those cards that just surprise you. You pick elements along the way and then when you are done, you’ve surprised yourself? Today’s card is one of those. Last July, I was honored to be selected as a “dirty girl” on the Splitcoast Stampers forum. During the first 6 months, you create cards based on specific challenges to share only with Fan Club members on that site. (Fan club = those who support the site financially with a small donation.) This card was based on a “lavender/old lace” challenge during the month of August.

This adorable little girl image is lolly (Penny Black). Colored with Copic markers and fussy cut, I then layered her over lace and die cut tags. All of this is mounted over a background panel I created by stamping with versamark and heat setting white embossing powder. I added a bit extra gray ink along the edges to add a little variation in tone and bring out the flowers.

*Sigh* I just love her 🙂
Thanks for stopping by today! I’ll be sharing more of my ‘dirty girl’ cards over the next few weeks. I hope they inspire you to create and surprise yourself, using your supplies in a way that brings you joy!
I remember liking this one. Very cute! I should share a few of mine…one of these days.

Haha! I know how you feel! I share because I love seeing what other people share and want o reciprocate but often fight lack of motivation for taking photos, editing, etc. Just do what you feel called to do 🌺
