One of the best things about a rare rainy day is that I feel absolutely no rush to go out and do things that can be done another day. This leaves more time for household todos and time in the craft zone! Yesterday was one of those days with downpours and strong gusts of wind so I poked around on some of my favorite sites for inspiration on what to create. Simon posted a challenge to use green and an Altenew product. FMS had a super-useful sketch (see it below). I used both to create this cheery greeting.

I used a mishmash of products from different companies to pull together. The newest addition to my craft room is the arched frame from MFT Stamps. I love the window it creates! The inner portion also has the stitched detail, so I look forward to using that piece on another project. The GREEN for the Simon challenge is found on both the plant and in the patterned paper. And the plant is an image from Altenews Pots & Plants, cut out with the coordinating die.
As promised, here’s the layout for this card is based on this sketch over at FMS:

Thanks for stopping by!
I like how you made a window for your scene!
