If you enjoy sparkle and shine on your projects, then Fusion has a fun challenge up that will be just your style. They’ve included a user-friendly sketch and an image that invokes celebration and sparkle, all in one! I used both the layout and the sparkle element to create a fun you-go-girl kind of greeting:
To keep it clean and simple but still have color, I started with a colored card base then layered over a die-cut layer that embeds a little detail along the edge. I then layered on some swirls (in place of the circle elements of the sketch) and a die-cut sentiment. Colors would be fun here too, but I stuck with different kinds of silver glimmer paper so they would both shine but still stand apart a little from each other. To finish, just a few sequins and then I STOPPED because this is supposed to be clean and simple! 😉
Thanks for stopping by and thanks also to the team at Fusion for another fun challenge. These challenges really encourage me to stretch my creativity and use more of the toys/tools in my stash! And who doesn’t need that?
