FMS517 – Birthday Wish greeting card

Happy New Year everyone! My family is getting back into the regular routine after holiday celebrations (and home renovations that took place during the break). I finally had time to sit down in my crafty space and play. Yay!

To kickstart creativity, I visited one of my favorite places for inspiration – the Freshly Made Sketches challenge site. I used their clean and simple sketch to create this fun birthday greeting.

At first, I thought I would use a few different treats from the All the Cupcakes stamp set (MFT Stamps) but I switched gears and simply used one image repeatedly on colorful pieces of scrap card stock. Stamping them on the colored cs and meant there was no need to color – a time saver since I still have chores waiting for me! This heat embossed sentiment from MFT’s Little Birthday Wishes and a die cut panel were the only other finishing touches for this cute (and easily mailable) greeting.
