Today’s card is a Thank You for a friend at work. She is a wonderful person and I appreciate the love and support she offers to those around her on a regular basis. I thought I would create a little card for her using cute images and a few details that I know she enjoys seeing on my cards.
To start, I pulled up this sketch (also shown below) from Freshly Made Sketches then used a Slim Edgers Die by Pinkfresh Studios to trim a white card front. The die set is actually one made for slimline cards, but by centering the die on my card panel, the detail from the center of the die still shows well.

This adorable image is from a Simon Says Stamp set called Spring Gnomes. My friend and I claim blue jeans as a staple wardrobe item, so I used copic colors that reminded me of denim to color her dress 🙂 I added a few lines with a white gel pen for pattern, then finished off the heart and roses on her hat in reds, adding a layer of clear epoxy afterwards for a little dimension and shine.
I didn’t want our little gnome to look like she was floating in the corner, so I added a hint of blue ink blending behind her along with some die cut grass. After adding her with dimensional adhesive, I finished the card off with a few clear gems and the die cut heart bubble (MFT Stamps). She always notices the details when I give her cards to use, so I’m hoping she will enjoy these on a card made just for her.

Thanks for stopping in to see my card! I appreciate it!
