Birthday Song – Fab color challenge

The lovely ladies over at Fab Friday have posted a fresh color challenge for us. Join me in playing along?

I find color challenges very.. well… challenging! LOL I have to remind myself that it doesn’t have to be massive amounts of each color. Just make sure that between paper, embellishments and images, those colors are represented somewhere. I think I managed to get it this time without completely filling up the garbage can. Progress, friends – progress!

This happy little guy is belting out a giant happy birthday for someone special! Just Jade and Bumble Bee appear on his hat and bowtie while Blushing Bride was perfect for inside his ears and his tongue. I also used the JJ & BB to help me choose card stock and patterned paper. A little metallic twine, glitter paper and gems add to the fun and finish off our card.

  1. You’ve hit the nail on the head for color challenges…you don’t have to use equal amounts of each color just have a least a little bit! You’ve done a great job this time! I love the sweet image and the bit of sparkle with the glimmer paper and silver thread is just right for a birthday card! Thanks for sharing at Fab Friday!
