I sat down to create some cards yesterday and managed to get two challenges combined somehow. (Good thing I’m playing along just for fun and not on a design team, LOL) Thankfully, my guys are all busy today so I had more time to play with paper and give it another shot. Here’s one of the challenges, offering multiple options:

On my previous card (see it here), I used the photo inspiration on the right to help me choose patterned paper and some of the other elements on that card. I concentrated on the sketch this time, using a large die-cut sentiment and multiple small details in the tag area of the layout.

A closeup of the top corner…

The sentiment was cut twice from thick white card stock and layered together to help it pop (visually) off the card front. For additional detail, you can draw in details or layer with another color of card stock. I decided to leave it simple since there’s already so much going on with the fairy.
To see more ideas and inspiration sparked by the challenge, be sure to visit the Fusion site. Enjoy!
Gorgeous card Adriana. I love the soft mauve colour scehem and how you’ve interprested the sketch. Thanks for joining us this fortnight at the Fusion Challenge. Tristan DT.
