Fusion/A Good Man

Months ago, I spent an afternoon playing with a gelli plate and random paints. It was good, messy fun and I was left with a bunch of backgrounds to use “one day”. Well, today is one of those days 🙂 The current Fusion challenge includes a sketch that allows the background to show with just simple layering above. The other part of the challenge involves a wintery looking bundle. You may not think my card fits, but hey – winter looks a little different in Florida. Ha!

I need to apologize for the blurry look of the birthday die cut going around the image. I just couldn’t get the photo right; I think it has something to do with the shadows. To give the design some dimension irl, I die cut the sentiment circle (by MFT) three times and glued it together. I promise it is stacked well – the blur is just the photo!

In case you would like to play along, here’s the challenge. You can choose to do either part or both; hope you have fun! To visit the Fusion site, just click here.
