Joyful Season and more plaid

I’m still playing with watercolor and trying to incorporate it into my cardmaking. I’m freshly reminded that drawing straight lines is harder than it looks (!) but hopefully the recipient of this card will just consider my attempt charming. 🙂

For this one, I just used one color of blue with different amounts of water added to it to make it lighter/darker. Once dry, I used a stitched border die to cut out a layer for my card front. A fussy cut snowman and a few fun elements came together to finish it all off!

I love the clean finished look and feel like the background adds to the joyful feel of the card. I hope you like it and are encouraged to try it yourself. Have fun!
