Fab Friday, ready for fall!

The team over at Fab Friday have a wonderful color challenge up! These fall colors are so pretty they even inspired this happy-in-the-heat Floridian!

I had to outside the box a little and sub out a couple of colors (Daffodil in place of Bumblebee and Rust instead of Cajun Craze) but I do have Cinnamon Cider. I’ve created ink spots with re-inker, which I used to smear ink directly onto watercolor paper. After moving the ink around with water (added by sprayer and brush), I stamped the image onto the panel using Cinnamon Cider and set it aside to dry.

Layered tags, die cut from Tasteful Labels die set, were layered along with burlap ribbon, copper wire and accessorized with a few sequins and a beautiful leaf trinket to finish off the card. I hope you enjoyed seeing my take on the color sketch. I find them very challenging but thoroughly enjoyed creating this to share it with you! Thanks for stopping by!
